Welcome to my website! I’m Akmal Hakim, a passionate luxury car fan from Malaysia, with a keen interest in the fascinating world of telecommunications.

As a fresh graduate student, I have been captivated by the field of data communications and networks for a long time. From a young age, I developed a deep curiosity about how information travels through networks, which led me to learn how to set up a router at the age of 13. This early experience ignited my passion for telecommunications, which has only grown stronger over time.

During my studies, I made a deliberate choice to specialize in telecommunications, delving into subjects like data communications & networks, network programming (Python), optical communication & networks, wireless communication system, and microwave engineering. This academic journey has provided me with a solid foundation in understanding the intricate workings of modern networks and their vital role in our interconnected world.

To complement my theoretical knowledge, I had the opportunity to gain practical experience as a network operations centre intern at a telecommunications company in Cyberjaya. In this role, I worked in 24×7 environment, monitoring network equipment and assisting with 1st level troubleshooting. This experience deepened my understanding of network operations field. I am excited to contribute my knowledge to my future career.

Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I engage in extracurricular activities that further expand my horizons. As the secretary for UNESCO Club UTM, I organized an impactful event that raised awareness about autism and promoted inclusivity. These experiences have honed my leadership skills and allowed me to make a positive impact in my community.
